BACKGROUND:

Along with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering with a concentration on structural engineering, Mr. Brian Harting is a registered professional engineer in Oregon, Washington, Florida, and Oklahoma. His broad experience and industry knowledge include design, engineering, project and construction management, civil and structural design and evaluation, and contract management across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use, transportation, and industrial projects.

Mr. Harting began his career working for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation beginning in the Bridge Division where he was involved with the design of new and renovated state-owned bridge projects. He later transitioned to the Construction Field Division, where he was responsible for overall construction oversight of a large interchange in downtown Oklahoma City.

After spending time in the public sector, Mr. Harting transitioned to private civil and structural engineering firms. He has extensive structural design experience utilizing various materials including steel, wood, concrete, masonry, and cold-formed steel. In addition to structural design, Mr. Harting has experience in civil engineering site development construction management and general contracting.
As a forensic engineer, Mr. Harting conducts forensic investigations of structural, civil, construction, and building-related systems to determine cause and origin of damage or failure.
