Mr. Brian DeFrias is a graduate of Ryerson University where he obtained a Bachelor of Architectural Science degree with a Major in Building Sciences. He is a Certified Engineering Technologist and is a registered Building Science Specialist with extensive experience in multiple disciplines including condition assessment, forensic investigation, specification writing, and contract/construction administration. Having joined Rimkus in May 2009 as a Project Coordinator, he has gained the knowledge and experience over the years to become the District Manager of the Western Ontario Branch.

Mr. DeFrias’ past projects include those in the commercial, multi-family residential, educational, health care, and municipality sectors. He has 15+ years of experience providing services relating to building envelope design and construction as well as the investigation, rehabilitation, and renewal of existing building performance.
