BACKGROUND:

Mr. Bryan Scott holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the states of Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Mr. Scott has 10 years of experience in construction and forensic investigations related to residential and commercial structures and heavy civil engineering projects. Expertise includes engineering implementation, inspection, and evaluation. Mr. Scott has progressive design/build experience, developing design plans and specifications, project procurement, project scope development, cost estimating, developing project schedules, monitoring and managing project scope, budget, and schedule throughout each project phase. He has a variety of experience in construction material types, systems, and components, with an understanding of construction plan implementation and industry standards.

As a forensic engineer, he has responded to, performed, and managed various damage assessments following numerous catastrophic events including tropical storm systems, floods, tornadoes, and structure fires. He has performed commercial, institutional, office, and residential structural, foundation, and framing distress analyses; roof damage evaluations; water intrusion investigations; vehicle and tree impact damage investigations; fire-related damage evaluations; construction defect/building envelope investigations; vibration-related investigations; and retaining wall damage evaluations.
