BACKGROUND:

Mr. David Johnson brings over 30 years in the residential and commercial construction disciplines in property rehabilitation and new construction, maintenance operations, property management, and substantial building inspection experience.  Mr. Johnson is a technical expert who conducts property condition assessments (PCAs) of commercial real estate in order to identify construction and environmental conditions and issues.  As such, he identifies the physical condition of properties, investigates problematic construction materials, estimates costs to repair or replace problematic building systems, projects capital replacement costs over a loan term, and prepares written reports.  Additionally, he performs environmental screening, data research and analyses, and interprets environmental issues in written reports.

During the past 26 years, Mr. Johnson has completed over 2,700 property condition reports for various Seller/Servicers and DUS lenders, as well as other lending sources.  In addition to his construction experience, Mr. Johnson has over 25 years of experience as an environmental consultant specializing in performing environmental site assessments, asbestos inspections, and mold investigations.  Project responsibilities have included the preparation of technical reports.

Additionally, Mr. Johnson began his career with 5 years of experience as a facilities manager for a commercial real estate REIT.

• Certified Asbestos Inspector: EPA/AHERA

• Certified Exterior Envelope and Building Analyst Professional: Building Performance Institute (BPI)
