Mr. Douglas Sloan is the District Manager of Eastern Ontario for Rimkus and is responsible for overseeing all District activities. He started his career working for local roofing contractors in the late 1970s. In 1981, he became a roofing inspector and started with Batten Sears and Associates in 1983. In his over 40 years of consulting experience, Mr. Sloan has been the project lead on developing roofing programs for a number of Ottawa school boards, local universities, and colleges. Programs included a full range of services from condition assessments, leak investigations, replacement design, quality assurance, and project management. He has also performed thousands of forensic investigations and emergency remediation. His experience has now evolved to include multiple facets of the building envelope. Today, Mr. Sloan oversees the operations for the entire District, providing strategies for project direction, peer review, and day-to-day administration.
