Ms. Eleni Theodosiou holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras in Greece and an M.S. in Construction Management from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom. She also holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. As a registered professional engineer in the U.S. and Greece, Ms. Theodosiou has over 15 years of international civil/structural engineering experience in all phases of building construction from conceptual design to completion for a variety of residential, industrial, institutional, and commercial sectors.

With extensive experience in structural analysis and design, structural inspections, and repairs, she has performed structural design in reinforced concrete, structural steel, reinforced and unreinforced masonry, and wood and has observed and evaluated the origin and cause of a variety of structural defects and failures for building structures, building and equipment foundations, earth retaining systems, road pavements, and drainage systems. She has designed for dynamic loading, performed structural evaluation for seismic performance, assessed multiple geotechnical reports for new construction projects, designed reinforced concrete equipment foundations, foundations with micropiles for tall structures, and earth retaining walls as well as auger cast piles. As an experienced project manager, she has prepared schedules and budget estimates, and performed budget management and quality control tasks. She supervised multiple construction projects for design compliance and construction methods. She also received the MSHA Part 46 training for miners and gained experience in construction safety.

Ms. Theodosiou has distinctive expertise in structural inspection of steel and reinforced concrete silo structures. She has conducted proactive maintenance inspections for a large number of silos in the cement industry and has developed a reinforced concrete silo inspection procedure with no precedence of such a document in the industrial sector.
