Mr. Slaff is an experienced GIS specialist and environmental professional. His GIS and environmental background allows for him to provide an in-depth understanding of the analytical processes, calculation methodologies, and nuances of GIS platforms in the conduct of his assignments.

As a GIS specialist, he has implemented enterprise-level GIS programs to create databases, build queries, create metadata, and interpolate environmental data. He provides GIS technical expertise to environmental and forensic assignments. He employs a suite of GIS software to provide advanced analytical capabilities, sound scientific basis for decision making and development of impactful visualizations.

As an environmental professional, Mr. Slaff is experienced in handling all phases of environmental site investigations and remedial actions. These include scoping and cost estimation, work plan development, QA/QC planning, executing field activities, contractor oversight, remedial system operation, and reporting from project inception through regulatory case closure.

Mr. Slaff served as one of three senior environmental scientists selected to work on a highly visible Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) initiative to reduce hazardous waste generation and impacts to communities burdened by multiple sources of pollution in California.

He also managed the weekly operation and maintenance of an in-situ bioremediation system for chlorinated solvents in groundwater, and acted as lead in charge of implementing and analyzing GIS data and production of geo-rectified deliverables.
