Mr. Valle is a graduate from the University of Texas at San Antonio, earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has experience in conventional structural engineering/design for large institutional structures and non-linear blast design, along with petrochemical and offshore accident investigations.
Mr. Valle’s areas of expertise include: structural design/analysis for large cast-in-place concrete and steel framed structures, along with reinforced masonry and wood framed buildings. He has performed construction management reviews, including, but not limited to: preparation of contract documents as well as site visits to determine design feasibility and conduct quality control and structural integrity investigations. Mr. Valle has also designed structures to withstand non-linear blast loading for petrochemical clients and government agencies. His experience in blast design include: glazing design for vehicle-borne explosive devices, design of control rooms for petrochemical environments, facility siting, offshore incident root cause analysis, finite element analysis, petrochemical accident investigation, testing of building articles with shock tube apparatus and design of structures for high explosives.
Mr. Valle has additional experience in institutional structural design and coordinating and scheduling multiple engineering disciplines including: geotechnical, civil and mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineers.
