BACKGROUND:

Mr. Iqbal Ahmed holds a B.S. and M.S. degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in New York and Florida.  He assumes the duties of Principal Consultant providing high-level engineering leadership and direction. Projects include structural milestone inspections, turnover inspections, structural integrity reserve studies, capital reserve studies, developer transition studies, and forensic investigations utilizing a solid knowledge of architectural, structural, building envelope, glazing, and waterproofing systems.

His professional experience has focused on structural evaluations of buildings, municipal infrastructure design, providing structural consulting/inspection services, and providing building envelope consulting/inspection services.  Mr. Ahmed has broad experience in all aspects of contract negotiation, planning, design, construction, and management.  He has been involved in projects including residential, commercial, retail, medical, industrial and government facilities.  The projects ranged in size from small retail to 730,000+-square-foot office spaces.

Mr. Ahmed also has extensive experience in municipal engineering design providing design, management, and close-out services to municipal clientele for 20+ projects ranging from municipal roadway, building construction, park construction, wastewater, and stormwater collection and conveyance systems. He has led multiple municipal improvement projects from conception to completion while overseeing scoping, engineering, bidding, and closeout.
