BACKGROUND:
Mr. Jad Chahal holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer with extensive experience in all phases of structural engineering, including design, construction documents, and specifications. His experience incorporates a broad range of skills, including design, code analysis, and bridge design and load rating.
Mr. Chahal’s past projects included the following areas: industrial, residential, educational, federal highway, and state department of transportation.
As a forensic investigator, Mr. Chahal is responsible for inspections and analysis of design defects, construction defects, storm damage, failures in building envelopes, as well as building and ADA accessibility code compliance. These inspections encompass industrial, commercial, residential, civic, religious, hospitality, and multi-residential building types for construction claims and property claims. His inspections include moisture intrusions, building envelope failures, window wall systems, residential and commercial plumbing failures, as well as brick veneer, stone veneer, and stucco deficiencies and failures.
