Background

Mr. Schelp is a registered professional engineer in multiple states and a certified general contractor in the state of Florida. He has expertise in design-build projects, construction scheduling, construction estimating, and project management.

He has over 14 years of field engineering and construction experience, including scheduling, implementation of quality control programs, cost control, and site safety per OSHA construction requirements for general contracting projects. He has constructed numerous types of residential, commercial, schools, airports, and solar projects. He has acted as Project Manager, Engineer, and Inspector in multiple construction projects (including government contracts) and has direct experience with projects at all levels of government.

As a forensic engineer, Mr. Schelp’s primary areas of expertise are in construction resolution, project schedule assessment, construction contract review, construction defects, structural building components, buildings assessments, building modifications, and exterior envelope system failure of structures. In addition to investigating construction claims and disputes, he also provides estimates for repairs and new construction.
