BACKGROUND:

Mr. Jason Walden’s responsibilities at Commercial Construction Consulting, LLC, A Rimkus Company (C3) include assuming overall management of the project, which begins during the planning and preconstruction phase and ends with the successful occupancy of the project. His experiences and responsibilities center on the proper organization and management of the project design and construction teams.

During his 25-year career, Mr. Walden has progressed through the ranks and acquired a ground-up knowledge of the technical and operational aspects of managing successful programs and projects. He has extensive experience in both ground-up construction and interior fit-out of corporate office buildings, complex office and research projects, and campus redevelopment and repositioning. He has been the project manager in direct charge of over $200 million in corporate space fit-out for international financial institutions and Fortune 500 corporations, which included traditional office, amenities, and special-use spaces. This experience included managing the interface between the landlord’s base building team and the tenant design and construction team to assure the TI is coordinated with the core and shell. Additionally, while with C³, Mr. Walden has provided project owner’s representation for large ground-up residential projects, large urban rehabilitation projects, as well as multi-use tenant projects, and large-scale tenant fit-out and relocation efforts. Mr. Walden’s experience is also called upon to provide guidance with construction claims and disputes, supporting construction project stakeholders by assisting in the avoidance and resolution of project-related disputes.

Mr. Walden has experience in managing the preconstruction and construction phases and typically serves as the point person for the design and construction team with the owner. He also coordinates the support staff from C³ that work alongside him during the planning and preconstruction of his projects. This support staff allows him to focus keenly on the progress of the projects and requirements of the owner while knowing that expert technical support is at hand to assist in guiding critical decisions, value engineering, and assessing technical options.
