Mr. Jay Murray has over 25 years of experience in commercial MEP engineering design. An early proponent of Green Building, Mr. Murray is responsible for all aspects of Commercial Construction Consulting, LLC, A Rimkus Company’s (C3) Green Building Projects, including overseeing the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering team’s designs for LEED Certified projects, acting as the LEED Administrator on LEED NC, Core & Shell, or EB for many project types from high rise office and residential, urban multi-family, life science, and commercial interiors projects.

With extensive experience in building systems and energy, Mr. Murray is a valuable resource to the technical and sustainability aspects of any project. He mentors an 11-person group of LEED Accredited Professionals who perform commissioning, plan review, and consulting on a variety of project types.

Mr. Murray performs existing building energy audit reports. The findings are based on inspecting and analyzing the major energy uses within each building. Energy conservation measures are published for the building owner so informed decisions can be made based on simple paybacks and return on investment calculations.

Sustainable design services also include Sea Rise Impact Studies, BERDO compliance, and Article 37 filing, which is now mandatory for all new projects in Boston.
