BACKGROUND:

With years of experience and completion of various projects for designing building mechanical systems, replacements, ventilation, plumbing, and piping, Mr. John Szymanski ensures that all aspects of each project are reviewed, arranged, and managed accordingly for successful completion. Prior to his current position with Rimkus, Mr. Szymanski worked as a Contracts Administrator, managing several projects dealing with the ICI sector and various government agencies. Overall, his field of working experience includes teaching process piping design, material management for the petrochemical industry fabrication and piping installation, as well as equipment startup at Lambton College.

Mr. Szymanski has over 40 years of experience in the execution of designs and preparation of specifications for new and retrofit installation of HVAC systems, piping, and plumbing for several types of projects including new and retrofit construction. He works together with clients, engineers, and designers to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed for compliance. He is also responsible for coordinating and utilizing resources and ensuring that all project-related issues are resolved. Mr. Szymanski is involved in preparing reports for HVAC-, piping-, and plumbing-related building systems. Implementation of construction designs for projects such as make-up air unit, air handling unit replacements, piping risers, and Kitec piping replacements. He is involved in preparing contract documents, certifying payment draws, inspections, and reports, and reviewing and preparing close-out related documents.
