BACKGROUND:
Mr. Joshua Koch holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an A.A.S. in Automotive Technology. He is a licensed professional engineer in Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
Mr. Koch has over 9 years of research and design experience in the railroad maintenance of way and transportation industries. He specialized in hydraulic system design for mobile equipment.
As a forensic consultant, Mr. Koch investigates mechanical and electrical failures on light, medium, and heavy duty vehicles; heavy construction and agricultural equipment; industrial manufacturing and process equipment; residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment; as well as appliances. He is knowledgeable in evaluating equipment for safety and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Koch has experience in industrial equipment and facility maintenance and manufacturing. He has applied his hands-on approach to repairing automobiles and other machinery to optimize and repair industrial manufacturing equipment. Mr. Koch has experience in facility maintenance and optimization, which includes HVAC, chiller plant, building automation systems, plumbing, electrical, and structural components of the facility.
Mr. Koch is an avid car enthusiast and spends his personal time building and maintaining his fleet of vehicles. He has a passion for machining and fabrication. He also enjoys overlanding and off-roading vehicles across the United States.
