Background

Mr. Lux holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and two master’s degrees in Civil Engineering.

He is a registered professional engineer in Florida. His professional background includes 34 years of experience in the design, inspection, maintenance, and construction of bridges and roadways.

Mr. Lux has over 34 years of civil engineering design and construction experience for water resource projects, airport facilities, and transportation facilities. His design services have included utility relocation, drainage, pavement, grading, geometry, and construction sequencing. He has also actively participated in more than 800 bridge inspection assignments for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) throughout south Florida. Mr. Lux has participated in hurricane recovery efforts for the FDOT, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and several municipalities in south Florida.

Experienced civil/structural engineer providing engineering services including structural condition assessment reports, roof evaluations, foundation damage evaluation, flood and wind damage as well as wind vs. flood evaluations; construction defects, water intrusion, flooring, windows, and construction work zone accident evaluations using the latest MUTCD.
