BACKGROUND:

Mr. Michael Hensen is a graduate of Concordia University (B. Eng. 1987), a professional engineer registered in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and British Columbia, and a Registered Roof Consultant (IIBEC). His technical duties include engineering and consulting leader of building enclosure, roof, and waterproofing consulting practices, as well as technical leader for corporate sustainability engineering initiatives.

He has provided engineering services that include new construction building envelope design, engineering design of single and multi-component remediation/rehabilitation/renovation projects, project management and contract administration, forensic investigation and failure determination of building envelope deficiencies, as well as building envelope-related technical support for construction litigation and insurance claims.

Mr. Hensen has over 30 years of experience providing services in the commercial, municipal, multi-residential, educational, health care, and municipality sectors. His extensive experience in identifying and resolving building deficiencies and construction failures has allowed him and his team of professionals a long list of successful repair and replacement assignments and always delivered within predicted schedules and budgets. Mr. Hensen has successfully implemented project management skills and strategies to manage single and multidiscipline renovation projects of all types.
