Where We Came From

The Rimkus Built Environment Solutions team was born from our company’s 40+ years of experience in forensic investigation. The first Rimkus experts provided clients with engineering and consulting services for projects relating to property damage, oil and gas manufacturing, construction, and more.

As our experts helped clients with matters involving complex building issues, catastrophic storm damage, and building disputes, those clients repeatedly turned to us for help in the remediation process that followed our investigations. They also expressed a need for proactive building services to improve the functionality of their properties and help prevent future problems.

To address this growing demand for comprehensive support services that extend beyond traditional forensic analysis, we established Rimkus Building Consultants (RBC).

In the following years, Rimkus grew both organically and through acquisitions. We strategically chose like-minded companies with a demonstrated commitment to integrity and accountability. Drawing on our combined industry experience, we continue to deliver world-class customer service and reliable, accurate building expertise.

Who We Are

That brings us to today. We’re now known as Rimkus Built Environment Solutions, and our team comprises engineers, architects, construction professionals, scientists, and technical specialists who offer a thorough understanding of the building life cycle from design and construction through rehabilitation and renovation.
