BACKGROUND:

Adrian is a Quantity Surveyor with over 35 years of experience in New Zealand, the Middle East, the UK, Ireland, and the Caribbean. Adrian has represented civil engineering contractors, claims consultants, PQS/cost consultants, a specialist marine outfitting contractor, and various asset owners including an airport owner and private developers. Adrian’s sector experience includes infrastructure, energy, industrial and manufacturing, and building.

Adrian specialises in both pre- and post-contract services including identification, allocation, and negotiation of risk during project procurement, contract claims preparation, prosecution, and defence under both standard form and bespoke contract models, expert quantum services, and commercial and contracts advisory. Adrian’s ability to independently identify, analyse detail and concisely present root cause events and their effects leading to claim entitlements and quantification of compensable/additional costs, is well regarded by clients.

Adrian’s portfolio of projects includes roads and structures; international airfields; civil marine works; petro-chemical facilities; rail and metro; green field commercial developments; sewerage treatment plants; building and building fit-out; and marine outfitting.
