BACKGROUND:

Mr. Hunter Hodge holds a B.S. degree in Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigation and a minor in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University and is an International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) certified Fire Investigation Technician.

For his degree, he completed courses such as Fire Prevention, Fire Behavior and Combustion, Building Construction, Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Proving Criminal Acts, Constitutional Criminal Procedure, Human Behavior in Fire, Fire Protection and Hazardous Materials, Principles of Criminal Investigation, Fire Dynamics, Electrical and Mechanical Systems Failure Analysis, Failure Analysis, Advanced Explosion and Bombing Investigation, and a Courtroom Testimony Course accredited by the IAAI. He has also completed over 180 hours of CFI Trainer courses accredited by the IAAI.

His fire investigation experience includes determining the origin and cause of fire scenes, creating virtual models of structures using a Matterport 3D Camera, developing heat and flame vector analyses, and researching in the relevant field.
