BACKGROUND:

Leigh is a planning, procurement, and contract professional with over 33 years of experience on major engineering and construction projects including oil and gas, process, aviation, nuclear, commercial, residential, automation, and manufacturing sectors.

Leigh’s on-site background, from engineering apprentice to construction manager, combined with a degree in engineering and broad experience in planning and contract administration means he can perform multi-disciplinary assignments.

Leigh has onsite construction experience from both the client and contractor side encompassing project planning, extension of time claims, contract, and commercial management; defects liability, design engineering, and the preparation and defence of claims and resolution of disputes.

Leigh has a detailed understanding of the major standard forms of contract in the engineering and construction industry, including FIDIC, NEC, and JCT, and experience of many bespoke forms of contract.
