Ong has over 23 years of experience in programme planning and project management of building construction, infrastructure, marine, and oil & gas projects. He has worked for several prominent construction groups in Malaysia and international contractors. With his extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in the construction industry, in recent years, he was entrusted with more responsibilities by overseeing the projects across Southeast Asia and South Pacific countries, where he was actively involved in the preparation of extension of time claim, project planning, monitoring, tendering, construction, and completion of many challenging projects.

Ong has more recently moved into claim consultant services where he provides forensic analysis of delay, contractual entitlement advice, and technical advice in matters relating to programming and planning on large and complex projects across South Pacific and Middle East countries.
