A vehicle’s engine control module (ECM), which controls various functions and monitors performance, often contains data related to speed, brake usage, and engine status. Similarly, a vehicle’s airbag control module (ACM) can store pre-crash data, including speed, seatbelt usage, and the precise timing of airbag deployment. These modules capture post-crash data, which helps in evaluating the severity of a collision.
