Background

Ms. Jacqueline Kerstetter has a B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a specialization in structural engineering. She is a registered professional engineer in six states and has over 13 years of consulting engineering experience on a wide range of projects. Her expertise includes condition assessments, structural evaluation/analyses, design, construction services, and forensic engineering.

Ms. Kerstetter has experience as a practicing structural engineer, having led the structural engineering efforts for several complex repair and alteration projects with responsibilities including project management, development of repair recommendations, design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction administration.

Ms. Kerstetter has performed forensic investigations and provided expert opinions for insurance companies, law firms, construction firms, and property owners for a variety of projects regarding damage/failure cause and origin, code compliance, and repairs/remediation. Her work includes inspections and evaluation of reported damage from a variety of incidences including vehicle impacts, fire, wind, hail, water intrusion, snow/ice, and construction-related defects.
