Nuannuan Liu

Background

Nuannuan has 16 years of professional experience, with the majority of her career spent supporting delay experts and expert witnesses in construction disputes. She specialises in forensic planning, scheduling, and analytical support on time-related issues, assisting in the development of independent expert opinions through detailed review of project programmes, contemporaneous records, and delay and disruption events.

In addition to her experience supporting delay experts in formal dispute proceedings, Nuannuan has substantial experience in the early-stage assessment of time-related matters, including high-level reviews of baseline and updated schedules, contemporaneous records, and key delay events. This work has contributed to the preparation of independent delay expert reports, including the identification of potential entitlement, key areas of delay responsibility, and the selection of appropriate delay analysis methodologies.

Nuannuan regularly supports delay experts in reviewing baseline and revised programmes, preparing forensic schedules and technical exhibits, and contributing to the drafting and review of expert reports for litigation, arbitration, and adjudication, and other formal dispute resolution proceedings.

Alongside her expert support work, Nuannuan has also provided claims advisory services to both owners and contractors. In this capacity, she has advised on the preparation, assessment, and defence of construction delay claims across a wide range of engineering and construction projects.

Her experience spans complex disputes and advisory engagements involving large-scale commercial and residential developments, airport and aviation infrastructure, industrial facilities, power generation projects, rail systems, and major oil and gas and infrastructure works.
