Background
Mr. Kenneth Elevado is a registered Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) and serves as Building Sciences Practice Leader at Rimkus. In this role, he provides technical and management oversight for the local building sciences practice, including technical leadership, staff mentoring, peer reviews, quality control of deliverables, project oversight, and support for client relations and business development.
Prior to joining Rimkus, Mr. Elevado gained experience in the construction of residential, commercial, and high-rise institutional projects. He also has a background in the academe, having published peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings, served as a peer reviewer for various international journals, and taught civil engineering courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His technical experience includes site investigations, property condition assessments for capital replacement plans and reserve fund studies, design development and review for building rehabilitation projects, construction administration, and other related building sciences consulting services.
