Background
Ms. Anna Colesworthy is a 2016 engineering graduate from North Carolina State University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in structures. Her structural design experience has included wood (light frame), structural steel, light-gauge steel, and reinforced concrete.
Her studies focused on quality control and materials testing in both lab and field settings, with proficiency in ASTM testing standards for concrete and asphalt.
After graduation, Ms. Colesworthy gained experience in residential design evaluating and repairing residential damage, additions, etc. She also assisted in the design of wood-framed apartment complexes, steel-framed office buildings, concrete foundations for prefabricated metal buildings, and commercial warehouse and office spaces.
Additionally, Ms. Colesworthy has worked extensively with the International Building Code as well as AISC (steel), ACI (concrete), and NDS (wood) design guides. She is also accomplished in AutoCAD, Risa3D, ENERCALC, 3DField, and Hilti Profis.
