Background
Mr. Edward Selvaggio holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a registered professional engineer in New York, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, and Massachusetts with experience in structural design; project administration; on-site inspection of structural steel, concrete, masonry, and wood; structural renovations of existing buildings; and construction management.
Mr. Selvaggio’s field construction experience includes the inspection of foundations structural steel, concrete, masonry, wood, precast concrete, and autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC). His experience includes structural design of structural steel, concrete, masonry, wood, prestressed concrete, light-gauge metal stud, and AAC.
Mr. Selvaggio has extensive experience and knowledge in the design of commercial and residential projects. His experience also includes property investigations of residential and commercial/ industrial structures including roof, flooring (tile, wood, etc.), water intrusion, building envelope, and pool failures. He was responsible for overall project management, field activities, evaluation, design, and recommendations for various types of projects and building systems. He is skilled in assessment and problem resolution relating to construction issues and damage.
