Background

Mr. Robert Swift holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in nine states, a licensed mold assessor in the State of Florida, and is trained and experienced in slip resistance testing and walking surface analysis.

His experience and knowledge cover over 20 years in areas of design, engineering, project and construction management, structural design, and evaluation. He is also experienced in investigating and analyzing failures related to residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. This includes investigating building failures, roof damage, hurricane damage, and earthquake damage and verifying construction compliance with applicable building codes, ADA requirements, lighting standards, and contract specifications.

Mr. Swift has experience in several aspects of civil design and construction, including single-family, multi-family, and commercial buildings conforming to the 2006 IBC and 2007 CBC. He has served as an assistant construction manager on several projects for the Cities of Orange and Riverside in the State of California, where his role on these projects consisted of documenting construction progress on the job site and performing document control tasks.

Mr. Swift also served as a Senior Field Inspector/Project Engineer where he performed structural inspections and provided structural certification of conformance for as many as 20 different projects. He was responsible for client corporate walks and technical design support to job site superintendents.

He is also experienced in investigating and analyzing failures related to residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
