Background

Mr. Faran Ahmad has extensive expertise in human biomechanics, specifically related to orthopaedic biomechanics and orthopaedic medical devices.  He possesses both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.

Mr. Ahmad’s extensive background encompasses various facets of Orthopaedic medical implants and Neuromodulatory medical devices.  His involvement includes research and development, clinical trials, product innovation, design control, medical device verification and validation, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Regulatory affairs, FDA Medical device submissions, and upholding FDA compliance, along with medical device quality management systems.  He is also well-versed in risk management, data collection, and analysis.

Mr. Ahmad’s primary consulting areas revolve around injury consistency biomechanics, accident reconstruction, and the examination of medical device failures.  In his role as a forensic investigator, he conducts biomechanical analyses for cases involving low-speed accidents, falling objects, slip and falls, and other accidental occurrences.
