A major professional sports league was considering a league-wide technology solution for player and ball tracking.

Services Provided

Rimkus was retained to conduct technical evaluations of multiple tracking technologies and make a recommendation. We conducted a multi-day test event of the candidate systems to assess tracking accuracy, data delivery speed, and data quality. We also analyzed in-game data from the systems. Based on our analyses, we provided a multi-point recommendation, including strengths and weaknesses of the candidate systems, that the league used to inform their decision and contract negotiations.
