Joshua Hartsock

Background

Mr. Joshua Hartsock holds a B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is a registered professional engineer in Missouri and Iowa. He has over 9 years of experience in civil engineering, construction material testing, and forensic evaluation fields.

Mr. Hartsock’s past civil engineering experience includes work on a range of projects for private, municipal, and federal clients on projects including water and wastewater collection and distribution, site development, water and wastewater treatment facilities, chemical jar testing, sewer smoke testing, water and wastewater structural assessments, water tower inspection, flow monitoring, fire flow testing, road rehabilitation, residential development, stormwater, run-off analysis, and traffic analysis.

He has performed design work and construction observation, and prepared contract documents including general notes, specifications, and special inspection requirements. He has provided construction administrative services such as cost estimates and shop drawing reviews, prepared addendums to contract documents, answered requests for information from equipment suppliers and contractors, and reviewed quality control/special inspection reports to evaluate if the design intent was met on site.

Prior to engineering, Mr. Hartsock performed work in agricultural farming, cattle and hog livestock management, construction services for grain bin installation, installed field terraces and underground tile, and concrete forming and finishing for family farming operations.
