Background

Mr. Christopher Longo holds a B.A. degree in Environmental Science and Policy from California State University Long Beach.

Mr. Longo has approximately 14 years of experience in environmental, health, safety, and emergency response. He has conducted and completed investigations related to hazardous building materials, OSHA compliance, air monitoring for air contaminants, confined spaces, job hazard analysis (JHA), and health and safety plans (HASP), as well as Phase I Environmental Site Assessment evaluations of residential and commercial properties to identify potential or existing environmental contamination liabilities. Mr. Longo has conducted assessments of property damage caused by smoke, soot, and/or ash. Specifically, evaluation of visible, olfactory, and microscopic evidence of fire-related smoke impact/damage to structures and contents.

Mr. Longo has performed evaluations of residential, commercial, and industrial building sites including Phase I Environmental Site Assessment evaluations of residential and commercial properties to identify potential or existing environmental contamination liabilities. Mr. Longo has developed, managed, and led many projects involving hazardous materials remediation and oversight.

Mr. Longo has also participated in many projects including the remediation of hazardous materials such as volatile organic compounds (VOC)-contaminated soil and wastewater, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, methane, and lead.
