Background
Dr. Kryztopher Tung received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on ergonomics and occupational biomechanics from the University of Utah. Prior to this, he received a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering both with a focus on bioengineering. Dr. Tung’s primary areas of research include upper extremity musculoskeletal injury prevention in various working populations, lower extremity biomechanics, and gait analysis during various work tasks. This directly translates into his consulting expertise pertaining to injury consistency biomechanics, upper extremity musculoskeletal injury, human gait and balance, slips/trips and falls, vehicle accident reconstruction, and occupant motion. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), and the American Society of Biomechanics (ASB).
