Background
Mr. Aaron Mayhugh is a fire investigator and fire service professional with more than 26 years of experience in fire suppression, fire prevention, code enforcement, and fire origin and cause investigations. During his career, Mr. Mayhugh conducted more than 200 fire investigations involving residential, commercial, and vehicle fires. He also served as a part-time Task Force Officer with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), where he assisted with federal fire and arson investigations. Following retirement from the Muskogee Fire Department and the ATF Task Force, Mr. Mayhugh continues to provide expertise in fire origin and cause investigations, fire scene analysis, fire dynamics, evidence documentation, and forensic consulting. His experience includes collaboration with local, state, and federal agencies in support of complex fire investigations and litigation-related matters.
Mr. Mayhugh’s areas of expertise include fire origin and cause investigations, vehicle fire investigations, fire scene documentation, witness interviews, evidence preservation, fire dynamics analysis, NFPA 921 methodology, and NFPA 1033 professional qualifications for fire investigators.
