Background
Aravind Perumalsamy, P.Eng., PMP, LEED GA, obtained his Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Carleton University in 2019. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a LEED Green Associate (LEED GA), reflecting his commitment to both technical excellence and sustainable construction practices. His professional experience spans quality control, project planning, drafting, cost estimation, contract administration, and project coordination. He has contributed to numerous large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, developing strong expertise in highway construction, condominium development, parking lot pavement systems, and infrastructure rehabilitation.
His responsibilities include pavement condition assessments, geotechnical investigations, drainage evaluations, cost estimation, tender analysis, contractor review, and award recommendations. He is also experienced in the development of technical specifications and contract documents for rehabilitation projects, including pavement restoration, resurfacing, base reconstruction, and site servicing upgrades.
Through his combined technical and project management expertise, Mr. Perumalsamy provides comprehensive engineering oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initial assessment and specification development to construction monitoring and project closeout.
