Background

Mr. Dan Bacquẻ has over three decades of diversified professional experience in the construction industry including cost estimating, value engineering, construction management, project management, quality assurance/quality control, site investigation and evaluation, compliance, and material procurement for projects ranging from $10,000 to over $900,000,000. His experience includes independent third-party cost estimates, cost valuations/analysis, and negotiation support for private industry, federal, and state governmental projects as well as state departments of transportation projects. These include Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), US Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Air Force (USAF), U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), Navel Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC), International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC), and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Mr. Bacqué has two decades of design experience that includes construction traffic control, permanent traffic control, intersection and signal design, stormwater management, and erosion control. His construction experience includes sitework development and earthwork for industrial petrochemical and power plant facilities, commercial and residential developments, water and wastewater treatment facilities, oil & gas plants and lifting stations; and large earth-moving and rock excavation for levees, dams, highway projects, and both light and heavy bridge construction. Mr. Bacqué has experience with bearing pile/caisson and heavy foundations; underground and utility structures, tunnels and large-diameter piping for water and wastewater conveyance systems; roadway stabilization and concrete paving; and sheet pile cofferdam and cell construction for marine and dry land projects.  Mr. Bacqué has also been involved with planning, constructing, and renovating facilities including administration/offices, dry and wet laboratories, training and educational campuses, hospitals, senior assisted living, airport terminals, and flight-line facilities for private, commercial, federal, and military programs.
