Background

Mr. Doug Graiser is a Building Consultant with Rimkus and a licensed general contractor with over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial construction.

Mr. Graiser’s areas of expertise include planning, coordination, cost estimation, and construction management through project close-out of new residential and commercial projects, as well as the restoration and renovation of existing residential and commercial structures. This includes single- and multi-family residences, hotels, restaurants, banking institutions, educational facilities, office space, retail spaces, religious structures, and warehouses. He has examined buildings for deficiencies in design, construction, and materials.

In addition to his experience as a licensed contractor, Mr. Graiser has served as an independent residential and commercial claims adjuster, estimator, and consultant. He is proficient with the Xactimate estimating software platform, along with additional resources to supplement the estimates when warranted.

As a Building Consultant with Rimkus, he frequently directs his expertise towards construction defect evaluation, property damage investigation, and storm and catastrophe event damage assessment, including fire damage, hail damage, wind damage, water intrusion, water and smoke damage, estimating, and repair protocol/evaluation and analysis.
