Mr. Ed Zastro has over 35 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He began his career as an owner’s representative for major governmental agencies, managing large‑scale construction programs with a combined value of two billion dollars. He later transitioned into construction consulting, applying his extensive field and management experience to a broad range of technical and advisory services.
Mr. Zastro’s consulting expertise includes construction delay claims, Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule analysis, forensic delay analysis (FDA), construction estimating and cost analysis, evaluation of construction defects, and assessments of construction project management standard of care. His work spans complex disputes, detailed technical analyses, and expert advisory engagements. Mr. Zastro is a Certified General Contractor in the state of Florida and regularly opines on matters involving construction claims and disputes.
Mr. Zastro has acted as an expert in construction management, scheduling, delay analysis, and construction cost disputes across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and the Cayman Islands. His expert testimony has addressed a wide range of topics, including critical path delay, acceleration, schedule compression, disruption, construction cost impacts, and time‑related damages in both arbitration proceedings and state and federal courts in the U.S. and Canada.
