Background

Mr. Eric Sinclair has 30 years of experience working within the environmental science, ecology, and regulatory disciplines.  Specialties gained during experience include wetland and stream delineation, habitat assessment, technical writing, GIS data analysis, interagency cooperation and consultation, and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal mandates, including the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).  Mr. Sinclair served as a member of the Eastern Mountains and Piedmont Regional Working Group, contributing to the creation of the regional supplement to the Corps of Engineers wetland delineation manual, and later served as an instructor for the training of Corps employees to utilize the supplement.  Mr. Sinclair has reviewed a wide variety of projects to assure compliance with Sections 401 and 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899, the Endangered Species Act, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, and NEPA.  Mr. Sinclair is a Senior Natural Resources Consultant at Rimkus, using his professional expertise in aquatic resource delineation, habitat assessment, and permitting to bolster and expand Rimkus’ natural resources consulting portfolio. Mr. Sinclair has performed complex field reconnaissance and desktop surveys throughout the southeastern United States across a variety of challenging sites and is a recognized expert regarding data collection, synthesis, and interpretation.
