Background
In his role as Vice President, Life Sciences, Frank Luongo leads the technical and operational teams within the Rimkus Life Sciences group. He drives the practice’s strategic growth by strengthening team capabilities, expanding into new markets, and promoting an integrated, high‑value approach to client service that leverages the full range of Rimkus offerings.
Mr. Luongo brings extensive experience in managing complex projects and operational teams on a global scale. A veteran of the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams, he completed 23 years of active and reserve service before transitioning into senior roles in the offshore oil and gas sector. Prior to joining Rimkus, Mr. Luongo led large scale Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) offshore field development projects, consistently taking on increasingly challenging responsibilities and applying his strengths in leadership, change management, and operational excellence.
He holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management and a Master of Arts in International Relations, with a concentration in Latin America and Spanish Studies, from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
