Greg Madalena

Background

Mr. Gregory Madalena holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of California and Alaska and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Mr. Madalena has over 25 years of experience in civil engineering, facilities engineering, and infrastructure management across a wide range of environments, including coastal, arctic, and aviation facilities. His expertise includes construction management, asset management, infrastructure planning, and evaluation of facility conditions for large and complex portfolios.

His experience includes the assessment, maintenance, and management of infrastructure assets such as airfields, waterfront structures, buildings, utilities, and transportation systems. He has led engineering evaluations, developed scopes of work, and managed capital improvement and repair projects for facilities valued in excess of several billion dollars. His work has included condition assessments, identification of deficiencies, and development of repair and rehabilitation strategies.

Mr. Madalena has extensive experience in project and program management, including contract administration, design oversight, construction management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams. He has performed engineering inspections, evaluated infrastructure performance, and prepared technical documentation to support planning, funding, and operational decision-making.
