Background
A retired State Trooper, Mr. Heath Sears served over 27 years with the Missouri State Highway Patrol. For the last 20 years of his law enforcement career, Mr. Sears was a member of the Major Crash Investigation Unit. During that time, he reconstructed over 300 fatality and serious injury collisions. He also assisted detectives by forensically charting homicide scenes, including bullet trajectory documentation. Over the course of his career, Mr. Sears received extensive training in various aspects of accident reconstruction.
Mr. Sears is accredited as a Vehicle Accident Reconstructionist by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR). His professional practice focuses on the areas of accident reconstruction, and he has extensive experience, training, and education in vehicle accident reconstruction.
