
Background
Mr. Jeffrey D. Wallace holds a B.S. degree in Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigation and is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator.
He investigated multiple fire scenarios throughout his time at Eastern Kentucky University. Mr. Wallace also spent a summer with the City of Fairfax Fire Marshal’s Office, Virginia, where he assisted in the origin and cause determination of multiple outside fires and an apartment fire. In his time with Rimkus, Mr. Wallace has assisted in the origin and cause determination of more than 50 fires in residential and commercial structures, vehicles, and heavy equipment.
At the age of 16, Mr. Wallace began volunteering at Ladysmith Volunteer Fire Company, Virginia, where he earned his Firefighter 1 and 2 certifications. At 18 years old, he became a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (Basic). While taking online college classes, Mr. Wallace obtained a job working as a temporary Firefighter/EMT at the City of Fairfax Fire Department, Virginia. He worked as a Firefighter/EMT for a year before moving to Kentucky to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigation.
Currently, Mr. Wallace is a Fire Investigation Technician with Rimkus and is an active member of the National Association of Fire Investigators and the International Association of Arson Investigators.
