Joseph Frega

Background

Mr. Joseph Frega has education and over 20 years of experience in the planning, design, and assessment of buildings, heavy civil construction, and wireless telecommunications support structures.  Since 2012, Mr. Frega has been engaged in the practice of forensic engineering and building diagnostics, conducting investigations and analyses of a broad range of commercial and residential structures on behalf of national insurance carriers such as American International Group, Inc., Allstate Insurance Company, Selective Insurance Group, Inc., and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.  In recent years, Mr. Frega has consulted on construction defect and damage cases on behalf of various condominium and homeowners’ associations and provided litigation support and expert testimony for a number of mediation, arbitration, and formal legal complaints in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Connecticut on both the plaintiff and defense sides.

Mr. Frega has also been engaged in structural analysis and design work for national telecommunications companies, such as Verizon Wireless, Sprint/Nextel, T-Mobile, AT&T, as well as other small, regional carriers.  Additional responsibilities have included field investigation, evaluation, design, and engineering of structures, working on design and evaluation projects for clients such as The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; The New Jersey Turnpike Authority; Pfizer, Inc.; various architects; and municipalities throughout New Jersey.
