Background

Mr. Joshua Anderson graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has over 8 years of experience in various design and forensic investigative roles.  His forensic investigative experience includes accident reconstruction of on- and off-road vehicle crashes, as well as analysis of on- and off-road driveline systems, engines, steering, brakes, seats, restraints, and cooling systems. This investigative experience provided valuable information to the organizations he was involved with, and many investigation results led to direct recall/field action.

Mr. Anderson’s experience also includes pump/gearbox forensics and product design. This includes creating and supporting custom product designs for specific customer needs.

Mr. Anderson has experience in product liability matters with vehicle fire and accident-related concerns. He is a certified fire investigator and has a specialty certification in vehicle fires, with nearly 200 vehicle fires investigated, including electric vehicle fires.

Beyond his professional experience, Mr. Anderson has a longstanding personal passion for mechanical projects. He enjoys restoring classic vehicles in his free time and pursues machining and fabrication as hobbies.
