Mr. Justin Crist is a Practice Leader at Rimkus with over 17 years of professional experience within the property restoration industry, including residential, commercial, and institutional. He began his career working part-time as a general laborer and restoration technician, learning hands-on skills, before growing into positions such as mitigation manager, project manager, estimator, and consultant specializing in mitigation and reconstruction. Mr. Crist has also coordinated emergency CAT operations after major Hurricanes Irma, Michael, and Matthew. He is proficient in Xactimate, Symbility, Excel, and operating Matterport and DocuSketch.
Mr. Crist’s extensive background in the property restoration and insurance industries gives him the knowledge and expertise to manage any loss encountered and the ability to collaborate with contractors, homeowners, property owners, public adjusters, lawyers, and all levels of insurance professionals. Mr. Crist has served as an expert witness pertaining to mitigation standard of care and best practices and has served as appraiser in insurance disputes.
