Background

Mr. Kang Li graduated from the University of Miami, Florida, where he earned his B.S. degree in Architectural Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Florida and multiple others in the United States, with expertise in structural design, engineering management, project management, implementing quality control, on-site structural inspection, and forensic investigation for property and/or structural damage.

Mr. Li has over 20 years of engineering experience in overseeing projects from planning and design to construction phase of new and existing construction for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings; managing design teams to ensure quality of design and coordination between all disciplines; and utilizing a wide range of structural materials such as reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, wood, post-tensioned slab, and pre-stressed concrete, with a focus in compliance with local building codes, as well as property and/or structural damage investigation for both residential and commerical buildings. Mr. Li is experienced in providing on-site inspection for various structural damage, ranging from age-related building deterioration and construction defect to engineer design error, and providing reports and repair plans stating the cause, extent, and repair recommendations to remedy defects.

In addition, Mr. Li has provided over a hundred testimonies as expert witnesses in trial, arbitration, and deposition (reference is available upon request).
