
Background
Ms. Katie Huff holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry and a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management. Ms. Huff has over 10 years of experience in the real estate due diligence field with a focus on Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). Specific experience also includes Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) and consulting services.
Ms. Huff has performed numerous due diligence assessments throughout the continental United States on facilities such as warehouses, industrial/manufacturing facilities, automotive repair shops, gas stations, dry cleaners, retail shopping centers, office buildings, multi-family properties, hotels, agricultural land, and undeveloped land. Ms. Huff also has experience conducting regulatory file reviews, and experience in the limited sampling of asbestos, lead-based paint, lead-in-water, and radon. Ms. Huff has also developed scopes of work for soil and groundwater sampling and communicated with applicable regulatory agencies regarding the results of the investigation, if necessary. Ms. Huff’s due diligence experience has been in conformance with ASTM, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), and other client-specific requirements. Ms. Huff is also experienced in the technical review of Phase I ESAs to ensure conformance to the applicable standards and that recommendations for further action, if necessary, are appropriate.
