Background

Ms. Lauren Firey holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. She is a crash reconstruction professional with extensive experience in federal vehicle safety research, defects investigation, and forensic crash analysis. She has more than a decade of technical experience across government, industry, and consulting environments. Her work includes specialized expertise in Event Data Recorder (EDR) interpretation and in the evaluation of crash reporting for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated vehicle (AV) performance.
